  • Gyrotonic with Lisa has provided real benefit with my 2 problems (probably related) of bad back and IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Sessions with Lisa are fun and not too strenuous!

  • I was born in Italy 62 years ago and from that day I had infinite problems with health and crashes, operations and reabilitations of all sorts. Having been introduced to Lisa well over a year ago and having looked at the "machine" I thought that was another instrument of torture. I was wrong and there also is something about Mrs Cleverton which energetically is right: so right has been my back ever since I had started. I would recommend it to people who have problems with d/spine, with locomotion and with strong emotions too because they all are connected. When Lisa touches my back something happens, I thought it was PRANA, definitely there is more in it. I can only explain it as "Plane or level of Consciousness". I recommend this experience, because it is unique. It wasn't good for me to do too much neither too little, so I had to re-adjust my regular visits. But each of us is unique like DNA so we all have to use the practice intuitively and listen to our body cells and their need. GPs take responsabilities away from people, Gyrotonics creates a language of understanding and if we want, awakening too. That is where Lisa' practice is not conventional gyrotonics either and it would be interesting to read an account from people who know and use it from other parts of the country and test it with Lisa. Having said that I find myself after years of pain and back problems still 6'2" walking straight!

  • The most beneficial thing I have done during my pregnancy is to have regular Gyrtotonic sessions with Lisa. Each session helped my body to remain strong and supple so that as the baby grew so did my body’s capacity to carry it. I have had none of backache so often associated with pregnancy and have found that my energy levels have remained much higher than I would ever have expected. The system works fantastically well for helping pelvic stability, joint and muscle strengthening and stretching and general mobility. In pregnancy I have not felt the weight of the baby to be placing any strain at all on my body. Lisa is such a positive teacher that you always leave feeling uplifted and with a confidence in your body that I’m certain will aid labour. It’s also a nice bonus when people comment you still have a waist at 40 weeks and we can all do with little boosts like that!
