We came to this restaurant for our 29th wedding anniversary and the staff could not do enough to accommadate us at short notice( we had come from cardiff for the weekend) We found the staff to be freindly and helpful even down to the fact that they showed us our table when we booked. We found the food to be deliciousand hot, with plenty on the plate to satisfy. All the menu looked delicious. We finished off with the dessert of the Toffee bomb, which left us speachless to say the least as it was so tasty(wow!!!). We would highly reccommend this restaurant to anyone and have already done so, since dining there. We look forward to dining there again when we return. Our complements to everyone from the waitress to the chef.
I am visiting from America and was taken here for lunch, where we dined outside on the terrace, with a large sun umbrella to shade us. The atmosphere was great, the service very good indeed, the bread and olives we had were superb and my chicken, bacon and avocado salad was lovely. My uncle had a pizza, which he said was very good too. My beer was poured into a very chilled glass, which was changed when I reorderd. The tiramisu was 'to die for' - by far the best we've tasted and the coffee was good. Well worth the visit and value for money.
The food here is good enough but it seems most of the male staff think they are god's gift to women. It's all very well being attentive but no genuine woman wants staff appearing to treat you like a potential conquest rather than just a customer in their restaurant. ACT LIKE RESTAURATEURS, NOT WOMANISERS.
