Based in Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded market town, the Bricklayer's is a family run Adnams pub. They offer a really great selection of real ales from Adnams Best, East Green, Explorer, Broadside, Old Ale, Oyster and Regatta, to guest ales such as Badger Best, Black Sheep, Brains SA, Fullers London Pride, Smiles Best and Woodforde's Wherry to name but a few. A range of largers, ciders, wines, spirit's and non alcoholic drinks are also available. Looking for truly great British pub food, the Bricklayer's offers a fantastic lunchtime selection from Panini's and Sandwiches, to Ham, Egg & Chips, Cod or Scampi & Chips, Indian or Thai Curry, daily specials like Bubble and Squeek or there is the irresistable Sunday Roast, which is a real plate full!  Food is available Monday to Sunday (Excluding Saturdays or Bank Holidays) from 12:00 to 14:00 (Mon-Fri) and 12:00 to 15:00 (Sun only). Situated in Bergholt Road, Colchester, Essex, they are only a short walk from the railway station (North Station) or a short drive from Colchester Town Centre or the A12 (Colchester North) and has a car park for around 20 cars.
