About Michael Woodleigh

Michael Woodleigh has been practising Osteopathy since 2003.
He graduated from The British School of Osteopathy and is a registered with the General Osteopathic Council,
a member of the British Osteopathic Association and is also an active member of the Waltham Forest Osteopaths Group.

Osteopathy is a hands on treatment practised by highly trained fully state registered practitioners. On a first visit patients
are asked to give a full history of their problem and a detailed history will be taken (including general medical details).
Patients may be asked to remove some clothing so that a postural assessment can be made (If for personal or religious reasons this
is difficult please ask at any time and alternative examination and treatment will be possible). Examination will include a static
evaluation and simple mobility testing to assess how your whole body relates mechanically to your complaint. We will then focus the
examination to the region, which appears to be causing the problem. patients are more than welcome to bring friends or family to
the treatment. After examination the patient is offered diagnosis and if applicable treatment appropriate to their condition. The
osteopath is always happy to explain and offer guidance if a patient is unsure. We are here to help.
