Twyn-Wenallt Abergavenny NP7 0HP
The Wenallt is unique in the warmth of welcome it provides and has a relaxed atmosphere which has to be experienced to be believed. Standing in 50 acres of farmland on a hillside in the Brecon Beacons National Park commanding magnificent views over the Usk Valley, the 16th century Welsh longhouse with its stone walls and unique setting is impressive. The interior has been tastefully modernised but care has been taken to retain its old charm. There is a Television Room, and for those who want to leave the outside world behind, the spacious Drawing Room with its original oak beams and old inglenook fireplace (where logs are burnt on those colder evenings) is an ideal place where guests can meet, plan the following days excursion or just relax. As well as breakfast you are welcome to dine with us. Food should always be special and we believe holiday food should be more special than ever. Here you will find first class food served with an unique blend of service and friendliness in the traditionally furnished dining room with its large stone fireplace.
