Welcome to the Actors’ Studio based at the renowned Pinewood Studios near London, the leading European provider of studio and film related services to the worldwide film industry. Offering first class tuition we aim to give students the opportunity to both refresh existing skills and learn new ones. Our acting workshops and drama school classes are conducted by people with an excellent pedigree in film, television and theatre.

The acting workshops and drama school classes are led by distinguished practitioners and expert teachers, including many directors and casting directors who are at the forefront of the film and television industries.

Based at the heart of the British Film Industry, Actors Studio was formed in 2004 at Pinewood Film Studios by former acting agent Tim Kent who worked as an agent for 10 years representing many household names.

Having been based at Pinewood Studios for many years Actors Studio recently opened a London branch based in the West End.
Actors Studio has been able to tap into industry people working at the studios who have passed on their first hand knowledge during the courses and workshops.


Our courses and workshops are held by distinguished practitioners and expert teachers, including many directors and casting directors who are at the forefront of the film and television industries. Actors Studio put on a range of courses that help actors obtain Agents, Show Reels, Voice Reels, as well as networking with Directors and Casting Directors.

It is important that professional actors regularly refresh and practice their skills. It is also important that they are 'out there' meeting the right people, Actors Studio prides itself on offering actors first hand knowledge and tuition by leading industry professionals.

This is complimented by master classes held by some of the industries top working professionals. Our children's courses are aimed very much at children wanting to work within the industry and not based so much on recreational drama. We are attached to many agencies that are always on the lookout for young up and coming talent.

Actors Studio also offers people the opportunity to learn the various skills to become an actor. Classes are held in the evenings and weekends for all levels. Students will be given the opportunity to learn Improvisation skills, Screen Acting, Stage Craft, Physical Theatre, Stage Combat, Voice Work and Presentation Skills.
