My history

Horses have been a big part of my life since i was a young boy, growing up looking after horses and having a passion for the art of shoeing horses from as early as 8yrs old.

Upon leaving school I started my Apprentaship in Warwickshire College, where I underwent a one year course to acheive my Forging Certificate. Once I had this the next stage was to find an Approved Training Farrier in my area. Luckily S.W.Crompton took me on for the four year apprentiship, where I took many written and practical examinations to acheive my NVQ in Farriery.
This NVQ qualified me to undertake the National Diploma of the Worshipful Company of Farriers, which i passed to then set off on my own as a self employed Mobile Farrier.


My business and reputation is growing everyday, also my client base is on the increase. I hope to one day have a smithy where i can carry out gait related lameness studies to provide maximum remedial support for the horse and rider.

I may possibly become an Approved Training Farrier some time in the future, so i can pass on my knowlege and increase the personel of my business and Farriery proffession.
