About The Haven

The Haven was established in 2005 by Wendy Price.Wendy is a fully qualified and experienced counsellor.  She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling which was awarded by The University of Wales College Newport in 2004.  Wendy also holds Diplomas in Stress Management, Organisational Stress Management and Holistic Therapy.Wendy is an integrated therapist which means that she works with more than one psychological theory.  One of the theories she works with is Cognitive Beahviour Therapy (CBT).  CBT has been proven to be very effective when dealing with problems such as Depression and Anxiety.Wendy has experience in dealing with many problems which include Depression, Anxiety, Bereavement, Abuse, Relationship Problems, Stress, Low Self Esteem.Evening appointments are also available.
