About Temwa Uk

Temwa, a charity based in Bristol, UK, raises funds for Usisya, Malawi - a struggling African community bursting with potential. Temwa works in partnership with local groups to deliver education, healthcare support, agricultural training and infrastructure development to people in Usisya, one of the most disadvantaged villages in Malawi.
Usisya’s community is isolated from Africa’s progress, but we believe this can change. Temwa works with Usisyans so they can support themselves and their families and achieve a better quality of life. Working to empower and educate Malawian farmers, families affected by HIV/Aids, and single parents, Temwa delivers education and resources to Usisyans to help them learn vocational skills, open small businesses, protect their children’s health, and build strong and sustainable communities.
Our vision is that Usisya will become a thriving and successful asset to Malawi; but Temwa needs support from individual donors, volunteers, and corporate partners to achieve their vision for this African community.
