There are two Lounges, a Dining Room, Bar/Cafe, Patio. An extensive, varied seasonal menu is served by our chefs using prime quality meat, fish and fresh vegetables. Mainly traditional English home-cooking with some Continental and Asian dishes. Breakfast of choice. Lunch and evening meal include choices of Starter, Main Course and Sweet. Special diets are catered for. Alternatives to the offered menu can be requested. Fresh fruit is always available. Room Service is when preferred. The Sun Lounge and adjoining Patio has a Licensed Bar and Cafe serving a wide range of spirits, wines, liquers, speciality beers, mineral waters and fruit juices together with fresh ground coffee and speciality teas, ice-cream sundaes, home-made cakes and biscuits. The Sun Lounge is especially popular with residents, their visitors and guests.

Beautiful private gardens lead to the Leas with its wide grass verges, majestic buildings and formal gardens extremely famous and fashionable during the elegant Victorian era. The Leas level walk follows the edge of a tree and shrub covered chalk cliff with glorious views of the sea and French coast and is ideal for personal scooters, wheelchairs, and walking with a Carer or independently if preferred. The Bandstand, just outside the rear gardens to the Hotel, has regular summer entertainment. The town of Folkestone has a full range of shops, banks etc. All religious denominations are represented. Popular Arts and Entertainment events are organised throughout the year (carnivals, open-air exhibitions and concerts etc) The nearby Leas Cliff Hall hosts Concerts, Opera, Ballet and Exhibitions, while the Metropole Centre and other Arts venues provide a wide variety of Music, Arts and Craft displays and events.
