When I arrived they advised that the price of the initial consulation was more than the standard treatment cost - this is fairly normal, you would expect it to cost more as it contains the treatment and a pre-treatment consultation. Expcept it didn't. They did not mention that the expensive consulation was JUST a consultation and that it didn't include a treatment. During the consultation the chiro asked if I wanted it fixed then or to come back later. Maybe I should have picked up on the implication, but I didn't and requested it then. But the chiro didn't make it clear that this would count as a separate session. So when I came to pay I found myself being charged for the consulation (which seemed like a reasonable price when I thought it included the treatment, but now seems very expensive for asking a few questions) AND a separate treatment (which btw consisted of ONE adjustment, which also made it an expensive price for what was provided). And not only did I feel ripped off but it also didn't fix the problem! And it is a 'fixable' problem because I've had it happen before and my regular chiro fixed it, and she fixed it again a week after this one failed to fix it. I only went to this one because I was in pain and my regular had flu. So very expensive and non-effective as far as I'm concerned.
