The MAD Museum (Mechanical Art & Design) showcases Kinetic Art, Automata and Steampunk.
It can be found in the heart of one of England’s finest and most visited towns; Stratford upon Avon. It is located on Sheep Street and if you venture down our tunnelled entrance you will find a world full of whirling and churning, weird and wonderful machines.
The MAD Museum houses an exciting assortment of exhibits which are superbly engaging for all ages. The attraction offers an extravaganza of visual entertainment with lots of rolling balls and plenty of clanking and rattling thrown in for good measure!
Think Health Robinson mixed with a Scrapheap Challenge and a hotchpotch of futurist mechanisms and then stir it all up with mind blowing creativity and ingenuity. The museum is proud to feature items from artists across the globe and the quality of the exhibits cannot be underestimated.
