A fully qualfied I. T. E. C. Registered Therapist Member of the Guild of Complementary Practitioners, Michael McCandless opened his practise, The Ark, in 2004 to provide therapeutic massage to clients across Southend, Leigh-on-Sea and the surrounding areas. He specialises in aromatherapy, sports massage, Indian Head massage and massage therapy, as well as being a Reiki practitioner.
His colleague, Kathy, provides a full hairdressing service in the salon at the front of the shop.
